"Sunshine Law: Secrecy vs. Open Government in Agency Decision-Making"
Ms. Jarman will be presenting a primer on the Hawaii's Sunshine Law, and its application to the practice of environmental and natural resources law in the state.
M. Casey Jarman is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the William S. Richardson School of Law. She was the founder and first director of the School's Environmental Law Program (ELP) and a past recipient of the Hawaii Women Lawyers President's Award. She served on the state Land Use Commission for eight years and recently returned from government leave after serving as County Clerk for the Hawaii County Council and Chief Elections Officers for the County from 2006-2008.
