Zen Garden in Druid Hill Park Master Plan Review

Please join us on Monday, September 28th, at 6:30-8pm at the Biohabitats(Stables ) building at 2801 Clipper Park Road for a discussion of the draft Master Plan. The report is attached as are two concept drawings of the space. These recommendations are based on the input you all provided last Spring at our planning meeting. As you know, the Zen Space is located at the North East Corner of Druid Hill Park , adjacent to the Jones Falls Trail and Parkdale Avenue.
Our goals now are to agree on the overall concept direction people would like to see for the park area, the specific elements of the space, and what should be implemented as a Phase I project this fall. The Phase I project will be a defined planting plan that seeks to start to begin define one or more aspects of the overall project . We have funds available for this Phase I project, and hope to move forward with and Art component in the spring.
