The Single Payer Action Network of Ohio's Kick-Off campaign will happen during 'Cover the Uninsured Week'. We're working to put the Healthcare for All Ohioans Act on the ballot for 2009. This initiative will replace for-profit, private health insurance with a single, publicly administered, not-for-profit fund which will pay all Ohioan's healthcare bills. Everyone in, no one out. As part of the Kick-Off week SPAN Ohio will be joining the OHIO EMPOWERMENT COALITION* RALLY at Statehouse Steps (High St. Side) at 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. We will march around the capital and to the SPAN action at the Ohio Association of Health Plans, on 230 E. Town Street from 12:30 pm. to 1:30 p.m.
