Coastside College of San Mateo offers a course in Creative Writing open to both seasoned writers and those dipping their quills for the first time. Experienced instructor Tim Maxwell, a poet and a fiction writer with an MA in English from U.C. Berkeley and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Oregon, will lead the workshop with special guest appearances by California Poet Laureate emeritus Al Young and National Book Award Finalist Kim Addonizio.
