Vacancies on Special Committee on Judicial Performance (Rule 19 Committee)
The Special Committee on Judicial Performance will have positions expiring on their committee. General qualifications for these positions include: affirmative interest in the organization; willing and able to devote time to perform necessary duties; conscientious, studious, thorough and diligent in learning methods and problems of the organization.
Duties: To implement and administer a judicial performance program according to such procedures deemed necessary by the committee and approved by the Supreme Court. 2 positions set to expire; three-year term beginning March 6, 2010.
Anyone interested in serving in this capacity should submit a resume, including their area of concentration, and a reason for wanting to serve to: the Hawaii State Bar Association, 1132 Bishop Street, Suite 906, Honolulu, HI 96813. Please note that these positions are uncompensated, and that applicants need to disclose all public disciplinary sanctions. If there have been none, then state that such is the case. Applications must be received in the HSBA Office by November 30, 2009; nominations will be made at the February 2010 HSBA Board meeting.
